Wedding dilemma of the day
Should we get married in April? Is that even possible/reasonable?
All that excitement, and more, over on my awesomely awesome wedding blog.

April 2010, sure. Oh, you mean THIS April? Not unless you decide to ditch the big wedding and just elope.
Posted by: Jim Lesczynski at January 12, 2009 03:23 PMIf you want to get married in the islands, then April is the best bet. Everything else will fall into place.
Posted by: Von Bek at January 12, 2009 03:53 PMi think you could do april- but you need the help of someone who's planned a wedding before. you can get the dress, dj, photographer but you'd have to do invites immediately. flowers won't be a huge deal b/c i'm assuming your destination will be beautiful on its own. also, don't worry about not having enough time to focus on random trinkets. that stuff is a waste anyway. but it's too soon if you wanted to have a bridal shower, bachelorette party, etc. i mean it could be done, but why make yourself rush like that? why not an nyc or long island wedding? how many people do you expect to invite?
Posted by: anna at January 12, 2009 09:15 PMdon't know how this sounds to you but would you consider a beach wedding in florida? not sure what your style is, but tere are gorgeous resorts down there on the beach.
Posted by: anna at January 12, 2009 09:54 PMMy brother was married in March, my sister in May. Splitting the difference would be a not so bad idea...
Posted by: J. Mark English at January 13, 2009 03:42 PMI started this thought over there, but do all of your guests know it's going to be outside the US and have valid passports? Not to get there, but I think you need one to get back into the US now, right?
I'm not sure how long it takes to get one issued/renewed.
