Hey, let's raise taxes!

Bob Herbert, fresh from race-baiting from his perch on the NY Times op-ed page, wants to raise your taxes. Hat-tip Frank White.

People are struggling because they have no money so obviously the solution is to raise their taxes so that they have even less money. This can only make sense to a liberal.

Meanwhile, Herbert's favorite candidate of all time, Barack Obama, promised tax cuts to 95% of Americans, even after the financial crisis was in full swing. Oh, and he also promised universal healthcare. And if you, like most conservatives, tried to point out that, well, that's unpossible, you were told you were the enemy of hope and change and probably just a racist. Maybe if Herbert had been focusing on more than just the color of Obama's skin he would've offered his criticism during the campaign. But, as always, the goal was just to get their guy in.

I'm always amazed Bob Herbert has a job. It's probably the single most glaring example of mis-allocation of resources by a private company.
