HELP
I need a rabbi. Like, yesterday. Our rabbi has an illness in his family making it very hard for him to get away for two nights to perform our marriage. He assures us he'll be there if we don't find anyone else but that we should, um, find someone else.
Please help if you know a rabbi, preferably in NY or Miami (due to the direct flights from both...the only other place that has direct flights to Turks is Nassau, Bahamas), who might be willing to travel to Turks&Caicos in like, oh, a little over two weeks, to marry us.
And not this guy. Or this one. Or anyone like that.

You can't find a rabbi in New York? Oi.
Posted by: Snoop-Diggity-DANG-Dawg at March 19, 2009 04:19 PMI KNOW! Or Miami! It's the whole Passover starts the next day thing.
Posted by: Karol at March 19, 2009 05:17 PMBut seriously, last resort might be rabbirentals.com.
Posted by: Karol at March 19, 2009 05:17 PMYou have probably done this already, but have you checked there isn't one in Turks? Or in the neighbourhood?
Posted by: bryan at March 19, 2009 06:42 PMSorry, you checked that, try the Bahamas?
Posted by: bryan at March 19, 2009 06:46 PMI'd offer to help more, but most of the Rabbis I'd know of in both places would probably be a bit pre-occupied right before Passover. :(
Any denominational preferences?
Posted by: jaws at March 19, 2009 07:18 PMSorry, Karol. I would marry you, but nobody, even on Purim, would mistake me for rabbi.
