People who have accepted my guest-blogging offer so far

In order of acceptance:

Alex Brunk and I worked on the Herman Cain campaign in Georgia back in '04. He was like 12 at the time. Ok, fine, he was in college, but he was super young and super conservative. Now, he's engaged and telling me I'm being too hard on Meghan McCain. The Alex Brunk of 5 years ago would have been much, much harder than me on ole Meghan. Perhaps age has mellowed him.

Petitedov is awesome and funny and has guest-blogged here before so I think that's evidence that I didn't just ask her to prove how mature I am by asking my ex-boyfriend's girlfriend.

Shane "Shaniac" Schleger is a professional poker player, a super-sharp dresser and all around cool guy. I once read something Shane posted on the poker forum 2+2 (think Free Republic but for poker players) and found it so funny that I emailed him and basically asked him to by my friend. Then it turned out we had friends, and a pizza-eating-obsession, in common and the rest is history. I love his writing. I think even those who don't play poker would enjoy his blog.

Mark W. Smith, author of Official Handbook of the Vast Right-Wing Conspiracy and Disrobed: The New Battle Plan to Break the Left's Stranglehold on the Courts has only blogged once before and it was on Alarming News! I have previously sung his praises here.

Robert Peach is a total mystery to me. I feel like I've spent a decent amount of time with him yet know nearly zero about him. I can barely give him a proper intro. He's young, he's smart and I have a feeling he'll have some interesting things to say. But I can't even imagine what they might be.

Allahpundit needs no introduction, particularly because he didn't really agree to guest-blog. But he didn't give me the patented Allahpundit insta-no either as he does when I ask him to do anything that requires him leaving his home. So, who knows, maybe the inspiration will strike him to write something here that he can't write on Hot Air.

Vinnay is another poker-person, whom I met through the poker blogging universe. I feel like he and I agree on about 90% of things and yet the 10% on which we disagree seems to work him into a mad frenzy. I feel like he'll spend his time here telling you what I got wrong, and also how the Buffalo Bills will go all the way this year.

Tom "Funkypundit" Elliott is another one who hasn't exactly accepted my guest-blogging offer but has said he will try to blog here at some point when he isn't busy with his day job, producing Laura Ingraham's show, or his night job, spreading the funk throughout the land.

Leave them lots of comments!

I'm waiting to hear back from some other people but I really like this group and I think you guys will too. I'll try to check in here and there but the way things are looking right now it'll probably all be on the wedding blog and I'll be back to Alarming News when I'm already a Mrs.
