The Hits Keep On Coming (by Petitedov)
I love Hot Air's "Obamateurism of the Day" feature. Mostly because I'm childish and unlike some people like to point out the left's hypocritical treatment of Bush vs. Obama. Apparently there's a new language we should all be aware of "Austrian."
I would like to be above it all, but it rubs the wrong way when people go on and on about how smart Obama is. Certainly everyone is allowed a few gaffes without being torn into pieces, now and then, but Bush wasn't given this courtesy, so I don't see why I have to do so for Obama.

Can anyone give me one single example of Obama's smarts? He's average intelligence at best, and he's emotionally disturbed to boot.

Slovene is an official language in the southern province of Carinthia. Other minority languages include Croatian (0.5%) and Hungarian (0.1%). All three languages are taught alongside German in some bilingual schools. Another minority language is Slovak. I notice you have to reference Bush in your post as well. Do you realize that your behavior makes it clear you understand the implications here - that your leader doesn't know Austrians speak German, something for which you would have hammered Bush about?

Also if Slate started a similar feature for a Obama, which it won't, I wouldn't blog about. However, since MSM won't do it, blogger will (and should)!
Mickey, the fact that German, like English, has regional dialects doesn't mean there's such a thing as the "Austrian" language. When will you fact up to the fact your guy isn't the sharpest tooth on the saw?

But wait a minute. Part of the justification for the Anschluss was that, after all, the two countries share the same language. So that means Germans...are actually...speaking Austrian?!
