Eminem Is Back (by Petitedov)
I know you were all holding your breath wondering what Eminem is up to. Well seems he has a new video out, "We Made You" (probably NSFW) where he lampoons important people like Brett Michaels and Kim Kardashian’s butt being is bigger than most (sidenote who is she?). Sarah Palin makes an appearance as one of Eminem's conquests. In short the video is horrible and offensive. I mean it would be offensive if was actually relevant, alas it's not. I actually like Eminem but this seems like a shadow of the great rapper. He has done funny parodies before which were accompanied by great songs. This, not so much. Very disappointing.

Every 5th line was "Two Turntables and a Microphone", which would be cute except that it is a refrain from a Beck's "Where it's at". I suppose this was a reference to Beck also being inducted, but good grief. The only thing tackier was Ronnie Wood's date. I thought she was his daughter. She can't even drink!
I suppose my only consolation is that Eminem will never be inducted.
"Two turntables with a mike" is a phrase I first heard being rapped about on Newcleus "Jam on it" about 25 years ago. Great, silly track.
Eminem, has he got over his mam being bad to him yet? Ho hum.
E- I think it's the same old schtick...nothing new or innovative. I still really like the way he raps. But at some point I expect a musician to evolve. Are my standards too high?
Also all the women in the video are women Eminem wants to "get with" using reverse psychology. So in a way he is flattering them I guess.
