Bush-bashers were always so classy

And also not at all racist, right?

Oh, and this was taken today in the West Village in NYC, proving that those liberals can really moveon.

I love the tread-worn, hacky jokes trotted out by that buck-toothed simpleton David Letterman.

CBS must be shelling out a fortune for that writing talent.

Why don't they just dig up some Monica Lewinsky skits, ca. '98, while they're at it?

Below, are a couple of links to items for sale which suggest George W. Bush's face has a physical resemblance to a monkey.

Funny how none of the left wing noisemakers whom see "racism" behind every objection to Obama's policies, just never got around to making a public condemnation about these types of products.

To be fair, Letterman is gap, not buck toothed!

"Funny how none of the left wing noisemakers whom see "racism" behind every objection to Obama's policies, just never got around to making a public condemnation about these types of products."
Why the hell should they? They didn't create them! Have you checked all of "the left wing noisemakers" spewings on every blog ever to be sure? Yah right! Cos nobody can vomit enough!

Posted by: May Dupp at September 27, 2009 05:29 PM

May, if liberals decry one thing as "racist," then they should decry the same thing applied to another, regardless of the other target's politics. Fair is fair, don't you agree?

Or perhaps is it different because Obama is black? I thought we were past looking at skin color, though. Thus any liberal who argues this is, in fact, the one who originates the race issue.

Did you ever see the Obama monkey sock puppet? It was made by an Obama supporter, IIRC. Yet without any facts besides the mere existence of the sock puppet, liberals reflexively started the accusations of racism. It's like the nooses at the Jena, LA school: they just had to come from racism, no matter that they were directed at, uh, the school's white rodeo team.
Have you checked all of "the left wing noisemakers" spewings on every blog ever to be sure? Yah right! Cos nobody can vomit enough!Well, if you find any...please let us know. Until then, it's a pretty safe assumption: liberals will say that "ChimpyMcBushHitler" is not a racist or extremist thing to say (which it isn't anyway), but "I oppose Obama's health care plans" is clearly racist in motivation.

"Until then, it's a pretty safe assumption"
Yup, let's assume knowledge instead of knowing something, cause that's never gonna bite us in the ass, mmmm? YOU defend this bit of foolishness if you like, to me it's a claim too big to back up. Am also not sure if 'they did it' as a defense isn't just a cruddy defense as well.

Posted by: May Dupp at September 28, 2009 01:47 AM

Well stated, Perry.

As we know, the lefties are just hiding behind all of those phony allegations of "you're a racist !" mantra as a means of deflecting debate away from their indefensible policies.

See, even when these lefties are given a link to the "Bush is a monkey" products, they still don't even condemn that stuff.

If they were really animated about defeating racism, they would have dumped the "Bush is a monkey" cottage industry 6 or 7 years ago.

And last year, they would have been outraged at Obama for being mentored by someone such as Reverend Jeremiah Wright.
Alas, Wright's racist sermons didn't even cause them to raise an eyebrow.

Posted by: IamTheWalrus at September 28, 2009 04:51 AM

The May Dupe is certainly rested and ready to take on all commenters here...having obviously slept through every major Leftist demonstration of the past nine years.

Posted by: Zzzzz...wha? at September 28, 2009 08:51 AM

Yep, they did it, why don't we? Perhaps, Perry/Walrus (anyone notice how they always have each others back?) because we hate them, we should try only to copy them when they aren't being assholes. It's a mucho bizarro idea, but it will win votes.
And when the middle hears the crazy coming from one side, they flee to the other side. We need to turn down the light on our crazies and turn the spotlight on theirs (and if you deny their existence, sorry, your one of em). McCain forgot this to OUR cost.

Posted by: May Dupp at September 28, 2009 01:43 PM

May Dupp, I always enjoy reading your wacky, rambling posts.

But before you solve the world's problems, try solving those "you're" VS "your" errors.

Posted by: IamTheWalrus at September 28, 2009 02:27 PM

Forget Dubya. What about all the political cartoons and ridiculous statements directed towards Condeleeza Rice?

Posted by: danielnyc at September 28, 2009 04:19 PM

Yes Walrus (PE?), I put that there on purpose. You're one of them. When you go to any GOP events, you're one of the people we try not to get on film, whilst any DNC press fall over themselves to put you and your shit on Youtube. You've fucked up and your crazy just don't stop. If you can't understand this due to any typographical error on my part, think: why am I bothering with typos when I could try to back up the foolish things I've said. Tool? No, more like a toolshed.

Posted by: May Dupp at September 28, 2009 04:30 PM

May, I'm not Walrus, and I don't need to sock-puppet -- least of all with you. So don't be jealous that someone here actually agrees with me on certain things, whereas you tend to stand alone.

Let's go down the list. His writing and vocabulary style is not only quite different, but he's also more conservative whereas I'm basically an anarchist at this point. Karol can see that our IPs are different, and she also knows me in real life. Third, and there's no way I'll admit this to my boss (a die-hard Beatles fan), only until recently did I know, uh, IATW was one of their songs. And finally, there's the simple fact that he and I don't always comment in the same threads.

Seriously, don't be so goddamn paranoid. You've already had enough trouble establishing credibility here.

'Have you checked all of "the left wing noisemakers" spewings on every blog ever to be sure?'

Do you see that you invoked the logical fallacy of challenging someone to prove a negative?

But this isn't the case of a black swan. We deride them as "liberals" for a very good reason, because they have no principles. Even so, I'm not denying the possibility of one who decried other liberals' double standards. Go ahead and show me one, when you find one.
And when the middle hears the crazy coming from one side, they flee to the other side. We need to turn down the light on our crazies and turn the spotlight on theirs (and if you deny their existence, sorry, your one of em). McCain forgot this to OUR cost.If you're talking conservatives versus liberals, or Republicans versus Democrats, I'm not involved.
When you go to any GOP events, you're one of the people we try not to get on film, whilst any DNC press fall over themselves to put you and your shit on Youtube.I've never gone to GOP events, other than Young Republican meetings and socials, and a couple of the summer street fairs. So I don't know about Walrus, but I've never had any opportunity to be "filmed" no matter how crazy I was.

Posted by: Perry Eidelbus at September 28, 2009 10:37 PM

May Dupp, where did you get the paranoid idea that Perry and I are the same person ?

Uh, wait...from the same mind which believes that higher taxes improve the economy and that Iran's Mullahs can be trusted with nuclear weapons ?!

Or is it because fraud and sock puppetry are typical left wing tactics ?

Seriously, one of the left wing's favorite tactics is to accuse their opponent of being "in-authentic"---whether in regards to Clarence Thomas being an "in-authentic" black man, or Sarah Palin being an "in-authentic" modern day woman, or conservative blogger Dorian Davis being an "in-authentic" gay man, or the tea party & town hall protesters being "in-authentic" in their opposition to Obama's policies...i.e., the real reason they're upset is because they're actually "racist," et al.

In fact, Thomas Frank wrote a book entitled, "What's the Matter With Kansas ?" which essentially posits that working-class Middle-American agrarians and suburbanites whom largely compose the Kansas electorate "should" by "nature" support intrusive Democratic big-government policies because the elite intellectuals on the coasts have determined that it is in the own best interest of working-class Kansans to do so. In other words, when Kansans vote against their own "best interests"---they are thus "in-authentic" Republicans.
...and that all emanates from the myopic notion by left wing elitist intellectuals that they know what's best for everyone else.

As Perry stated, he knows Karol, while I on the other hand do not personally know Karol, Perry, or anyone else here.

I will say I'm flattered that you compare me favorably to Perry. Perry knows his stuff. We're gonna have to start calling him "Perry Mason" based on the way he has conducted many prosecutions of left wing commenters in this court of opinion, leaving jurors no choice but to convict his opponents for being criminally negligent in defending their left wing policies and ideas.
His smack downs of proponents of a federal take over of health care, are epic.

By the way, May, your inability to delineate between "you're" and "your" is not a typo---you intended to write it that way, because you are confused about contractions VS possessive form.
(Funny, then, how you accuse us of being 'stupid.')

Posted by: IamTheWalrus at September 29, 2009 02:29 AM

Perry Mason was a defense attorney, then a judge (for a brief time in the first TV movie). He had to do cross-examinations, though, so the comparison still fits and is appreciated. But I always liked being called Perry Como, for my crooning. :)

My laying down the smack on liberals is more than just convicting them of criminal negligence in defending their side. We're talking about people's lives and freedom here. There is no room, NO ROOM to "agree to disagree" (which is just a cop-out), or to let things be dismissed as mere matters of opinion, when they're seeking to dictate my choices for health care. They want to force me to live my life by their decree, so there can be no compromise. Compromise means they get some of what they want (to rule me), and I get none of what I want (freedom).

To be fair to May, he's said he agrees with Republicans 8 times out of 10. He couldn't really be specific, though, but I'd like to give him the benefit of the doubt that he isn't a raving liberal lunatic. But now he's betrayed a British flavour, using "whilst" and single quotation marks, so I'm curious. Still, you and I are not so paranoid that we assume he must be Bryan.

To add to his paranoia, though, how about you and I are split personalities? But which one of us is on LSD, per the song? Or is that May who's drugged up? I still can't understand the last thing he was talking about. Maybe May is Bryan on a bad trip?

But the one undeniable fact is that if I'm really up at 2 in the morning to blog or leave comments on a blog...my wife is not letting me back in bed.

"See, even when these lefties are given a link to the "Bush is a monkey" products, they still don't even condemn that stuff."

Well, no. They don't. Because "monkey" is not part of the battery of racial slurs traditionally deployed against white guys.

HA! How does it feel, Eidelbus? Remember how you pulled that crap with me? I'm still waiting for an apology on the basis of the names you called me because you were GODDAMNED SURE that I was Canadian.

Posted by: Doc Washboard at September 29, 2009 11:48 PM

Well, no. They don't. Because "monkey" is not part of the battery of racial slurs traditionally deployed against white guys. Thanks for admitting your double standards, namely that skin tone matters to you. How hypocritical.

So if someone had called Bush a "cracker," you'd have spoken up? What about the Louisiana woman who said "Shut up, white boy"?
HA! How does it feel, Eidelbus? Remember how you pulled that crap with me? I'm still waiting for an apology on the basis of the names you called me because you were GODDAMNED SURE that I was Canadian.First, unlike MD, the basis for my belief was not paranoia or anything of the kind. As I've said too many times already, so kindly stop making me repeat myself to get through your thick skull, you jumped into a threat with every appearance of a sock puppet. When you make the same points as other anons, what are we to expect? On top of that, your protestations of innocence, or more precisely the manner in which you made them, only made you look more guilty. So just what should I be "apologizing" for, pray tell?

The only way I feel "sorry" is for your parents, and for whoever is foolish and/or unlucky enough to employ you.

2. I lay the smack down on idiot liberals (yeah yeah, Walrus, I know that's redundant) regardless of the name. You could have been Paul Krugman for all I cared, so don't feel special.

I owned you here, then even more on my blog where I was not constrained by my respect for Karol. Give it up, kiddo -- I saw you start to reply on at least two occasions, only to throw up your hands. So stick it, you sniveling little fuckwit. You can't tangle with me and will never come close. Why don't you tell liberal readers here how that feels?

Posted by: Perry Eidelbus at September 30, 2009 02:18 PM

Perry, it's rants like that which make you so fun. Your nuttiness is, indeed, the gift that keeps on giving!

Posted by: Doc Washboard at October 1, 2009 08:36 AM

I (and everyone else) will take that as your latest concession of defeat. Do you think we really need more than one guess as to who made the disgusting comment that Karol deleted?

Thanks for playing, bubba. Need me to point you toward a corner where you can lick your new wounds?

Posted by: Perry Eidelbus at October 1, 2009 10:37 AM

You go, Perry! Better and better!

Posted by: Doc Washboard at October 1, 2009 06:49 PM

We'll take your silence on that certain matter as admission of your guilt. Thanks for clearing it up!

Posted by: Perry Eidelbus at October 1, 2009 09:46 PM

All things are, perforce, admissions of guilt in the Perryverse.

Posted by: Doc Washboard at October 1, 2009 10:11 PM

Then go ahead, proclaim your innocense. Lie like the self-proven liar we know you to be.

Posted by: Perry Eidelbus at October 2, 2009 01:36 PM

Bleh, "innocence."
